Communication
Part-time Lecturer and Module Leader at LJMU.
Elected Student Representative for three consecutive years whilst undergraduate at LJMU: acted as spokesperson for fellow students and liaised between students and staff.
Information Guide at the Text Garden, Calderstones Park, Liverpool for Artranspennine ‘98, delivered presentations and dealt with visitors’ enquiries.
Voluntary helper during LJMU Open Day: represented the course, and provided information.
Spokesperson for fellow musicians: dealt with the public in the UK and abroad, and liaised between venue and agent.

Teamwork
During Artranspennine ‘98: organised rota of work for fellow students, whilst liaising closely with The Tate, Liverpool.
Team Leader of student volunteers during Liverpool based ISEA conference (International Symposium of Electronic Arts) and also during Liverpool Biennial.
Teamwork is an integral part of the life of a professional musician. Diplomacy and highly developed social skills are required when dealing with the difficult logistics of touring, particularly under the added pressure of performance.

Organisational
Coordinated an exhibition and related workshops at St. Hilda’s School, Liverpool.
Organised, and secured funding for, an exhibition of contemporary paintings at ‘Static’, Roscoe Lane, Liverpool, with sole responsibility for related text and press releases.

September to December 2000: Lecturer and module leader to Level One students at LJMU, teaching ‘Notions of the Artist’.

1982-1996: Professional Bass Guitarist touring extensively in Europe, the Middle East and the Far East..
